"You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess..."

It's a love story, baby just say yes.

So I fell in love with this picture before I realized that these two were a part of that *ahem* interesting *ahem* closing of the Chanel show. For those who haven't heard, it was basically the implications of a threesome on the runway as Karl Lagerfeld walked out at the end...which I actually think is interesting. First there's the whole idea of Marie Antoinette, which is a very fascinating and clever inspiration in these economic times. Then these unexpected "sexual undertones" as worded it in their video about the show. I think it foreshadows what's to come, just as the 60's had their period of liberation during troubling times, we will also be liberated by the recession and everything that's going on.

Hey! Karl Lagerfeld is so relevant to the current times with his Marie Antoinette & 1960's inspirations - great analysis.
