I want to live more. I crave a world that is spinning faster, that gives me more to be a part of. I want to be a part of an artistic community, to feel like I am living a revolution. 1830s french bohemia, the lost generation, the beats of the 50s, the factory scene and protests of the 60s...I want to live wildly and madly and loudly. I feel like I have to create that world I want to live in, create that place of art and madness and beauty and pain and laughter and dreamers. So I guess I will. Because that's how it all has to begin, isn't it? With a feeling, a hope, a dream.

I've been thinking a lot about this and such lately. I have so many vivid, crazy, imaginative dreams of the person I will become, and I worry sometimes I don't focus on who I am right now. I'm scared to try new things sometimes, I'm scared to be judged. But the person I want to be is none of that. So I'm going to be really cliche here and say that I'm going to try and actually do like that picture, and live the person I want to be. I'll keep you updated on how that goes (:
How about you my loves? Who do you want to be?
and this video is why.
I love how she doesn't just try to make music, but tries to make art. her intention and her thought proccess is really incredible. I always love to read interviews with her because she really has so much to say about what she does. (I thought the interview piece below was perfect for this video too!)
"
RS: I heard you say this quote I loved, and I'd love for you to explain it – you 'make music for the dress.'
Lady Gaga: Yes, absolutely. I mean I don't write records and then decide what the video will look like. I instantaneously write things at the same time so it's a complete vision, the song and the visual, the way that I would perform it on the stage. It's something that all comes to me at once. So when I say I make the music for the dress, the dress is a bit of a metaphor for 'I make the music for everything,' for the entire performance vision.

It's interesting, she thought, how breathing teaches us that loss is a relief
something neccessary before you start the process over.
"Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off"
If you look this good, please don't.
full of light and magic.
