BEFORE THERE WAS GAGA....

isn't it weird seeing Lady Gaga when she's not....Lady Gaga?

She seems like she just flew in on a firey comet, and ran through the forest in a flurry of glitter and rainbow light grabbing shimmering clothing and tights and showed up on stage and started technodiscofying the radio stations.

but she once was a brunette! and wore an aquamarine dress! and played piano with her hands!(she uses her feet in this video)

How interesting......

and this video is why.

I love how she doesn't just try to make music, but tries to make art. her intention and her thought proccess is really incredible. I always love to read interviews with her because she really has so much to say about what she does. (I thought the interview piece below was perfect for this video too!)

Lady Gaga: Yes, absolutely. I mean I don't write records and then decide what the video will look like. I instantaneously write things at the same time so it's a complete vision, the song and the visual, the way that I would perform it on the stage. It's something that all comes to me at once. So when I say I make the music for the dress, the dress is a bit of a metaphor for 'I make the music for everything,' for the entire performance vision.
