living
It's easy to avoid life. It's easy to shell up, shut up, hole up, bury yourself in the busywork and nightmeres and fear. But the most rebellious thing you can do, the best person you can be, is somebody who runs at life. Who sees the incredible color spectrum of love and evil, of hate and anger, of miracles and wonders, and challenge it head on.
Stand there with open arms and recieve-
you are the gold at the end of the rainbow.
Living is hard to see as a choice, becaue it is our existence.
Our today and tomorrow, our now and forever.
But it is a choice.
Living is active (breathing is not),
Living is being conscious of your existence, of your feelings and your cravings and your dreams.
Living means taking risks, jumping off the cliff, dancing in the street.
Living means falling in love, eating too many sweets, crying when it hurts.
Living means trusting, opening, welcoming.
Living means pain and broken hearts.
Living is seeing everything in the world,
and realizing how beautiful the choice is.
Do one thing today that makes you feel more alive than you knew you could.

let go
It didn't take much for her to know it was the truth. There was something in the flavor of the air that day, in the delicate balance of salt and taffy, the rancid smell of the beached whale. She didn't think about it so much as she felt it. There was something in the fragile nature of the fog that day, the way she felt as though if she moved, it would shatter around her.
She had built up a life she hated. She had climbed to the top of the great pyramid, stepping on the backs of the people who had built it, clawing at hair and limbs to get there first. And now there were expectations. Expectations and responsibilities. Expectations and responsibilities and committments.
I can't live like this, she thought.
I won't live like this, she said out loud.
Somewhere a seagull let out a low call, and she felt a tiny crab venture over the veins in her foot. The white foam of the ocean bubbled around her, and the swollen waves coughed up seaweed and glass.
I will leave, she realized, I will run away from this grown up world
I don't need more money, I need more life!
Tell them
If there is somebody in your life you love,
truly love,
stop holding back.
Today is the day to tell them.

Belonging
Breathe deeply.
The love particles in your lungs have come from another
another life you do not know
but
they gave you life.
The peace particles you shed will go to another
another life you do not know
but
you gave them life.
With that knowledge
how can anyone be a stranger?
