15 minutes until international human rights day...YAY!
There are a million causes that one can take on tomorrow, but one action I really would love to highlight because it is definitely one of my passions is the cause of current genocides in today's world. It is totally shocking and mind blowing that such atrocities are still allowed to occur in today's world. And I personally have made a dedication to myself, and to every person living in a refugee camp, every person who has died that I will work my hardest and do what I need to help end this genocide. Not just for them, but for future generations.
We are the example. Let's set a good one.
Here are some links to Darfur websites:
WHAT'S GOING ON?
POSTERS OF REFUGEES
FOR STUDENTS WHO'D LIKE TO GET INVOLVED
HELP RESTORE THE REGION
...I'll put up more links later, promise.
Have a great time spreading the word about your cause tomorrow! :)
